Bioseptin probiotic ointment 60 g

Bioseptin ointment has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and protein-breaking properties. It contains Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis bacterial spores that are effective against a wide range of pathogens. They destroy pathogenic bacteria on the wound surface, whether in an oxygen-demanding or oxygen-free environment, especially Gram-positive types. They help to break down dead tissue and harmful bacteria, preventing re-infection and speeding up wound healing. The ointment does not cause irritation and there are no allergic reactions.

Composition and presentation:

The ointment contains the spores of the two bacterial strains in an agar (gel-like) base and ethyl alcohol. It contains no genetically modified ingredients. Each gram of ointment contains at least one million live bacterial cells.

Several countries of the international organisation have jointly introduced a trade ban (embargo) on cosmetic products, so Bioseptin ointment has been registered as a veterinary medicinal product in Hungary. .

How to use:

It should be applied externally, thinly smeared over the damaged area of skin, 1-2 times a day until healed. The treated area does not need to be dressed.

When not to use:

   If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients of this product, it is not recommended. It should also not be used in combination with antibiotics, sulphonamides or other bacteria-based preparations.

Important information:

In humans, the use of ointment:

Apply a thin layer 1-2 times a day to the affected area until the wound is healed.

Overdosing is not possible.

For animals, the application of ointment:

Once the animals have been treated, there is no waiting time before their meat or other products (e.g. eggs, milk) can be used as food - i.e. they can be consumed immediately.

Areas of use:

It can be used to treat wounds, infected or dead tissue, burns and dermatitis in various species of animals - domestic, farm, wild and fur animals and poultry.

Side effects:

With proper use, side effects are rare or non-existent.

Storage :

The ointment should be stored in a cool (0-10 °C), dry, dark place, out of the reach of children and animals. It should remain at 20 °C for a maximum of 2 weeks during transport. Can be used for 2 years from the date of manufacture.
