Vektor Animals 3 (Vetom 3) - Probiotic with special bacterial strain
The Vector Animals 3 (Vetom 3) is a probiotic preparation that Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (VKPM B-10642) restores the balance of the intestinal flora with the power of a bacterial strain. Universal for all species of animals, including bees and aquarium fish.
Active substance and mechanism of action
It is based on a special spore-forming bacterium:
- Bacillus amyloliquefaciens VKPM B-10642 (DSM 24614)
This strain is active in the colon, producing proteolytic, amylolytic and cellulolytic enzymes that help to break down and absorb nutrients and inhibit pathogen multiplication.
When is its use recommended?
The product is an excellent preventive and adjunctive therapy for:
- After a course of antibiotics: To regenerate intestinal flora damaged by medicines.
- For indigestion: In the event of diarrhoea, dysbiosis or stress caused by a change of feed.
- Immune boosting: To increase the effectiveness of vaccinations and drug treatments.
- To maximise production: To improve weight gain and feed conversion in livestock.
- In bees: To increase the resistance of colonies and reduce mortality from infections.
Target animals
Widely applicable:
- Pets: Dogs, cats, rodents.
- Useful animals: Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, horses, poultry.
- Exotic animals: Reptiles, amphibians, ornamental fish (dissolved in water).
Dosage recommendation
The powder should be mixed in water, feed or premix. Basic dose: 50 mg/kg live weight.
- Prevention (Cure): 1 time a day for 15-20 days. Repeat 3-4 times a year.
- Therapy: 2 times a day (every 8-10 hours) until symptoms disappear. In severe cases, the frequency may be increased to 4 times daily (every 6 hours).
- Correction of immune deficiency: 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days.
- Group dosing: 15 000 rations per tonne of feed.
Important information
- Does not cause resistance or habituation.
- Overdose symptoms are not known.
- There is no waiting time for food.
